In
2001, with the approval of the Board of Governors, the Humanitarian Foundation
has made a committment to work with Special Olympics in their Special Smiles
Program. All Grottoes are urged to participate with their Local and/or State
Special Olympic Events. A little helping hand from Grotto Prophets and their
Ladies will bring so much personal warmth and satisfaction to any who volunteer,
just by watching the faces and enourmous pride these "special athletes" have
in their accomplishments.
